The Quality Manager will manage all activities related to Quality Assurance and carries out his/her activities under responsibility of the Responsible Person (Fachtechnische verantwortliche Person/FvP) for Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Quality activities for the Swiss Market;
  • Maintain the Quality Management System, coordinate the GDP relevant trainings and monitor the Market compliance status with focus on the Swiss Market;
  • Manage Market release, customer complaints, product deviation and changes affecting the products;
  • Ensure compliance with GDP and Swissmedic regulatory framework;
  • Lead QMS compliance with Swissmedic regulation in alignment with Swiss RP and Swiss PPRC responsibilities;
  • Implement Quality Assurance initiatives to improve the quality of the systems, the products, and/or operations to meet business needs;
  • Monitor the alignment of the Quality Assurance activities and reconcile any deviation from plans and processes;
  • Implement, execute, and improve Quality Assurance processes, audits and self-inspections plans;
  • Collaborate with others to ensure compliance with applicable GDP guidelines and ISO standards;
  • Contribute to an efficient and secure supply chain, including returns, prevention of falsified medicines in the supply chain and ensure maintained appropriate temperatures during transportation and storage as applicable;
  • Maintain and update training profiles, undertake induction training and refresher training related to quality management system for local affiliate staff;
  • Develop and manage effective relationship with Galderma Global teams.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum three years’ experience in the GxP regulated industry, acquired in Quality Assurance departments;
  • Good knowledge of regulated products in Switzerland and Swissmedic regulations for marketed products;
  • Able to read, write and speak German and English fluently (contact with competent authority will be in German);
  • Work experience with Quality tools, electronic document management systems, and training management system;
  • Bachelor of Science, Degree in Pharmacy or Life Science or equivalent;
  • Proactive, independent, and meticulous working style.
