Job Purpose

The individual will be a key member of the International marketing team and will heading all Marketing business analytics related to the growth of the brand and feeding into the overall strategy and brand plans for GW’s portfolio across the International Markets countries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding and key strategic insights into the evolving EU epilepsy market, clinical data and Epidyolex and other TAs;
  • Lead all Marketing business analytics;
  • Contribute to the development of the EU5 Epidyolex launch plan with all analytical aspects required;
  • Measure the feasibility of the strategy and the effectiveness of the promotional tactics;
  • Initiate and analyse market data, including competitive intelligence and trends, to generate key insights to drive brand direction;
  • Drive all brand related market research with HCP, patients or caregivers in alignment with the brand team and brand needs;
  • Drive the brand adoption in using the right key metrics during the launch of Epidyolex e.g message recall;
  • Update and maintain the sales forecast in alignment with the line manager;
  • Work collaboratively with the US colleagues;
  • Contribute to a seamless Medical : Marketing: Market Access interface;
  • Establish and nurture customer relationships within the epilepsy community across markets where Epidyolex is to be commercialised;
  • Manage budget for assigned projects;
  • The job holder is responsible for maintaining cGxP and H&S knowledge applicable to the job.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Contribution to and maintenance of the EU5 Epidyolex commercialisation plan, utilising stakeholder and market insights;
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the Epidyolex data to build the strategy, positioning and messaging, create the differentiation and value added for the product;
  • Measure the feasibility of the strategy and the effectiveness of the promotional tactics;
  • Be the primary contact for a set of defined work stream which would likely include the following: Market Research, Forecast, other analytics;
  • Presentations to key internal / external stakeholders;
  • Attending international congresses and stakeholder meetings if required;
  • Budget accountability for assigned projects;
  • Project support across team members;
  • 20-30% international travel;
  • Carries out their work in a way that will not adversely affect their own, or others’, health, safety and security or the environment and reports any shortcomings in GW arrangements.

KEY ATTRIBUTES/SKILLS/EDUCATION - ESSENTIAL

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or business;
  • Deep and demonstrable knowledge of business analytics in Marketing;
  • Proven Product Launch Experience.

Experience:

  • Substantial, relevant pharmaceutical experience in marketing, brand management and sales. A significant proportion of marketing experience to have been gained in multiple International markets;
  • Neurology or rare disease experience preferred;
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and vendors;
  • Proven team-working ability within diverse cross-functional teams;
  • Proven and demonstrated experience in strategic and tactical planning.

Skills:

  • Strong collaboration and team-working skills;
  • High degree of IT literacy in particular strong excel & power point skills;
  • Strong analytical skills and thinking, strategic acumen and excellent attention to details;
  • Cultural sensitivity;
  • Strong communication skills including written and presentational;
  • Fluent spoken/written English and ideally additional languages.
