Main purpose of role
- You will champion the key brands focusing on the ADVANZ existing portfolio & pipeline in Gx, Promoted Rx, Specialty & Biosimilar portfolios;
- Responsible for development and execution of Marketing strategy including designing, executing and evaluating pre-launch, launch, post- launch & life-cycle management activities across the Gx, Promoted Rx, Specialty & Biosimilar portfolios;
- Work closely with Sales, Commercial, Market Access, Portfolio and Commercial Excellence to ensure alignment and scale and scope of activities;
- Creation and implementation of an industry leading Rx marketing function, embracing change, taking full advantage of digitalisation, enhancing our reputation with economical and clinical stakeholders;
- Lead in developing and executing a strategic & operational plan for defined products to maximise the value of the brands through life cycle management and to ensure the long-term presence of products portfolio. It will also assess impact of key interventions;
- Champion importance of capturing stakeholder insight and adapting strategy;
- Significant contribution with Regional and Global BD&L on development of new product pipeline programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and execute Brand Plan to support agreed launches and brand growth;
- Develop, implement & evaluate marketing strategy & operational plan for existing portfolio supported by appropriate financial analysis, planning and desired ROI;
- Understanding and developing budgets and finance, including expenditures, research and development appropriations, return-on-investment projections;
- Planning, directing, and coordinating omnichannel marketing across portfolio;
- Preparation of the launches for Gx, Promoted Rx, Specialty & Biosimilar portfolios in collaboration with internal departments, such as sales, medical, market access, portfolio, commercial excellence;
- Communicating the marketing plan;
- Gaining insights regularly from key stakeholders and competitor research and build a strong network across key external stakeholders, including NHS;
- Collaborate with Market Access, Commercial to develop pricing strategies to maximise market share and margin;
- Building brand awareness and positioning development of a strong national networks and contacts to relevant interest groups;
- Working with Portfolio and BD&L Teams to identify and execute pipeline opportunities;
- Develop organisational talent;

Qualifications:
- Life Science Degree or higher post-graduate qualification;
- Business Qualification.
Experience & Competences:
- Significant pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience across marketing, sales and market access in innovative and generic markets;
- Excellent analytical skills and able to identify and understand moderately complex issues and problems, and interpret information in a manner that provides appropriate recommendations to Marketing and wider organisation;
- Ability to learn, understand, translate into simple messages and clearly communicate complex technical information;
- Responsible and accountable for his/her own work, and will share collective responsibilities with others;
- Demonstrate high level communication and interpersonal skills – someone who engages with others and can impact, influence and inspire confidence both internally and externally. Confident, mature and a flexible individual, (s)he will demonstrate an ability to adapt to different cultures, situations and personalities and build long-term relationships;
- Organised personality and having a "closer" mentality: independent, pro-active and being results oriented;
- Knowledge and experience of preparing NICE submissions as well as Branded Gx launches.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Proven, demonstrable experience in Rx commercial environment;
- Demonstrable effective time management skills and the ability to multitask;
- High competence in project and stakeholder management;
- Proven ability to manage budgets;
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
