Job Purpose

The purpose of this position is to learn and become familiar with R&D analytical instrumentation, techniques and procedures, perform under supervision procedures and activities related to Method Development, Method Validation, Process Validation and Stability studies or any other analytical activity needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

Learn and execute under supervision any R&D related analytical technique on the instrumentation available (HPLC, dissolution, UV, LC-MS/MS, XRD, PSD, etc.)
Perform under supervision any analytical task/activities related to the responsibilities of any of the R&D teams (Method Development and Validation, Process Validation and Method transfer, Stability)
Test materials and products under development
Proper documentation of the analysis performed, following the respective SOPs
Review of analytical results and reports (under the supervisor’s guidance)
Prepare quality reports and other analytical documents
Follow established procedures that ensure data integrity of the generated results
Execute of calibration activities for pH metres and balances
Execute cleaning activities of instruments used during analysis
Responsible for the proper application of personal protective equipment and safety procedures
Ensure that tasks and processes are executed according to established regulations and guidelines such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), current Good Laboratory Practices (cGLP), Good Documentation Practices (cGDP) and the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Carry out any other duties as assigned by Supervisor/s

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences or other related scientific field
Master’s degree is considered an advantage
Previous experience is not a prerequisite
HPLC hands on experience is preferred and considered an advantage
Good teamwork skills
Ability to work under pressure.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Good knowledge of English
Basic knowledge of Microsoft office tools
