Responsibilities

• Leads CEE markets advocacy activities to ensure brand's appropriate adoption;
• Leads CEE markets scientific messaging dissemination developing a compelling communication for each brand in line with the company's strategy of the brand;
• Works closely with the Head of Medical Europe and the General Manager to establish a medical footprint for Stemline in the CEE markets;
• Is part of the CEE Leadership team and contributes to the development of CEE strategies and tactics;
• Establishes, develops and manages collaborative relationships with key medical experts and opinion leaders of the CEE markets related to any current and future disease areas relevant for Stemline;
• Gives strategic guidance to the local MSL team, drives and is hands-on, in the structured tactical execution of all local medical activities, in close collaboration with Medical Affairs Europe;
• Leads, coordinates and pro-actively contributes to all pre-launch activities;
• Locally facilitates any patient access programs to address high unmet medical needs.
• Provides medical expertise in all regulatory and reimbursement approval processes within CEE markets;
• Partners with Stemline Clinical Development and Clinical Operations to identify and work with local opinion leaders, investigators and clinical experts in the CEE markets that support the development of Stemline's new compounds and indications;
• Ensures that all activities required by pharmacovigilance and risk management are planned, set-up and pursued in accordance with respective local laws in the CEE markets;
• Takes responsibility as one of the local official spokespersons in case of external media requests regarding disease/product related matters;
• Ensures legal excellence and compliance in all medical activities as per Stemline SOPs and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel >50%;
• Lateral move or experienced & senior Med Advisor/MSL (at least 8 years in Pharma and similar role);
• A background working with ultra-rare indications is a strong advantage;
• Previous experience of product launches in oncology is desired;
• Ideally worked in Oncology/Haematology before with solid contacts to top KOLs in the CEE markets;
• Preferably a Medical Doctor, or bio-science background (PhD);
• Mobile, willing to travel and work in the field, covering the CEE markets;
• Hands-on, ready to create a medical footprint of Stemline in CEE markets;
• Strong communication skills, open style & pro-active;
• Ability to understand and effectively communicate scientific and medical information to both internal and a variety of external customers;
