We are looking for a team-oriented, independent biologist/biotechnologist with a strong background in molecular biology (and preferentially immunology) with solid technical expertise (e.g., flow cytometry, ELISA, qPCR) to strengthen our discovery development process. This position combines laboratory and conceptual work with full responsibility for assigned tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designing and performing cellular in vitro assays (target engagement studies and functional immunological assays)
• Analysing biological results and drawing valid conclusions
• Performing complex and technically challenging experiments
• Advanced experimental troubleshooting and methods development
• Substantial contribution to literature and relevant databases mining
• Presenting research results and methodologies at weekly meetings with the project leader, project team meetings and other internal/external research forums

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Ph.D. in a relevant field (additional experience in academia or industry will be considered an asset), or an MSc degree with several years of relevant professional experience
• Previous experience in the fields of immunology, cancer biology is strongly preferred
• Technical experience with flow cytometry (essential) and standard molecular biology techniques like ELISA, Western Blot, qPCR as well as cytotoxicity, proliferation assays, primary cells isolation from animal tissues, cell culture
• Experience in working with immune cell-based assays in microplate format and in in vivo samples analysis is an asset
• Practical experience with analysis software such as FlowJo, GraphPad Prism, Excel is strongly preferred
• Analytical thinking approach, literature search skills, and ability to work independently on a specific topic but also as a team member is a must
• Willingness to learn and adopt new experimental techniques
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
