Are you a dynamic and innovative researcher passionate about advancing cancer treatment? We are seeking a post-doctoral fellow in single-cell proteomics (SCP). This is a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in analyzing protein expression at the individual cell level to understand tumor heterogeneity, integrating SCP with single-cell transcriptomics (SCT) for a comprehensive view of cellular mechanisms. Your work will drive drug discovery, identify new therapeutic targets, develop targeted therapies, and optimize treatment regimens.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute experiments in single-cell proteomics and single-cell transcriptomics;
  • Develop and optimize protocols for sample preparation, data acquisition, and analysis;
  • Analyze proteomic and transcriptomic data using bioinformatics tools;
  • Interpret results to draw meaningful conclusions and inform subsequent experiments;
  • Collaborate with other researchers and interdisciplinary teams to advance research projects;
  • Provide expertise and support to team members in proteomics and bioinformatics;
  • Mentor and supervise graduate students and junior researchers;
  • Provide training in experimental techniques and data analysis;
  • Write and publish research findings in peer-reviewed scientific journals;
  • Present research results at international conferences and seminars.

Profile:

  • Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, or a related field, with a specialization in proteomics;
  • Mastery of proteomics techniques, including mass spectrometry, proteomic data analysis, and protein separation methods;
  • Expertise in Single Cell Proteomics, including sample preparation, data analysis, and result interpretation;
  • Bioinformatics skills for multiomics data analysis, including single-cell transcriptomics;
  • Knowledge of bioinformatics software and tools commonly used in proteomics and transcriptomics;
  • English is required; French is a plus;
  • Experience in supervising and training master's students;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, for writing scientific publications and presenting research results;
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with researchers from various disciplines;
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to overcome experimental and analytical challenges;
  • Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to technological and methodological advancements in the field of proteomics and transcriptomics.
