For our successful Drug Product (DP) focused branch located in Basel and Stein, Switzerland, we have exciting opportunities. Become part of a group that enables its customers to meet some of the greatest challenges in patient treatment and join us by applying for the Associate Principal Scientist Bioanalytics position.

What you will do:

  • Hold responsibility for planning, review and approval of analytical laboratory work for Bio-Analytics including method transfer and validation including different modalities (e.g. antibodies, ADCs, recombinant proteins, vaccines and CGT products) for pre-clinical, clinical and commercial products
  • Responsible for analytical methods such as ELISA/LBA, cell-based assays including cell culture, SPR etc.
  • Act as Bio-Analytic project lead
  • Handle GMP-compliant documentation and processes and participate in deviation/investigation/CAPA writing for the QC Bio-Analytics department
  • Contribute to scientific field or technique by solving scientific problems within the department

What we are looking for:

  • PhD Degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Analytical Science or related Life Science subject
  • Significant work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry
  • Min. 3 years of experience with cGMP work
  • Knowledge of several bioanalytical methodologies, including ligand binding assays (ELISA, HTRF), mammalian cell culture, preparation of primary cells, cell-based assays, surface plasmon resonance, etc.
  • Familiarity of working with electronic documentation systems (laboratory notebook, document management, LIMS)
  • Excellent communication skills, team player, flexible and able to manage complexity
  • Proficient knowledge of written and spoken English. Any other languages are a plus
