We are currently seeking a Scientist in Structural Biology to join our research team. In this role, you will perform structural analysis of proteins in complex with small molecule ligands, antigens and/or nucleic acids using X-ray crystallography or cryo-EM. Your work will include recombinant protein production, purification, crystallization, and structure determination. Key Responsibilities

• Recombinant protein expression and purification for structural studies;
• Performing crystallization experiments, including screening, optimization and crystal harvesting for diffraction measurements;
• Structural analysis of protein–ligand, antibody-antigen or protein–nucleic acid complexes using X-ray crystallography or cryo-EM;
• Development, implementation, and optimization of gene-to-structure pipelines for divergent protein targets.

Your Background

• Degree (MSc or PhD) in biological or chemical sciences;
• Fluent in English and willing to work in highly dynamic and fast-paced environment;
• Hands-on experience in recombinant protein production using E. coli and/or eukaryotic expression systems;
• Proven expertise in purification of high-quality proteins for structural studies;
• Strong background in assessing protein quality;
• Practical experience in crystallization of macromolecular complexes;
• Extensive expertise in structural analysis of protein-ligand complexes;
• Proficiency in solving and analyzing protein structures by X-ray crystallography, including use of CCP4 and XDS software packages;
• Experience with structural analysis of membrane proteins and/or cryo-EM analysis will be a plus.
