Then join our Pre-clinical department and be part of development projects with your microbiological knowledge and implement new test methods as part of the development of new products within our different business areas.
In our R&D organization at HQ in Humlebæk, you will be part of the Pre-clinical team covering a broad spectrum of competences from biological, biochemical, polymer, mechanical and the chemical area, around 22 scientist that together are responsible for the knowledge within the biomedical interface, evaluating the performance at the biomedical interface of our current and coming products. The Pre-clinical department is an integral part of the Test & Characterization organization within R&D.
As one of our Pre-clinical scientists, you will become our experts in cleaning within our reusable devices, supporting projects with your microbiological competences defining the test strategy, testing according to standards and develop and validate cleaning procedures for our reusable devices. You will work on a diverse range of products in our development projects across our different business areas. Doing so, you will bring your important microbiological knowledge to various cross-functional projects, just as you will rethink and help solve unexpected challenges.
You can look forward to spending a great deal of your time in the laboratory together with the technicians, test according to BS EN ISO 17664, implement new methods and collaborating closely with adhesive-, material- and mechanical specialists, our end-users and of course, your colleagues within the team.
We do not expect you to know everything there is to know about the tasks at hand, nor for you to have hands-on experience with cleaning of reusable medical devices – though this would of course be an advantage. The important thing is your willingness to be part of exploring new possibilities and pursue an understanding of why some things work while others do not.
