As Head of Vaccines Ireland within our Vaccines UKIE MCO team, you'll lead our vaccines Business Unit with overall responsibility for strategy development, implementation, and business growth across the Irish market. Ready to get started?

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive vaccines business strategy for Ireland with cross-functional teams, aligned with UKIE MCO and Global priorities;
  • Partner with national Health Authorities to ensure optimal vaccine access and coverage, drive sustainable future growth, and deliver excellent customer experience;
  • Drive evidence-based immunization policies that protect communities;
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the Irish healthcare ecosystem (e.g. Policy Makers, NIO, NIAC, KOLs, Patient Associations & Individual HCPs);
  • Full financial responsibility of P&L, including of commercial policy in collaboration with finance business partner, and management of distributors and credit management;
  • Spearhead pricing, reimbursement, and tender strategies for the vaccine portfolio;
  • Lead & inspire X-functional team across Sanofi Ireland to proactively drive impact for vaccines;
  • Active contribution to MCO strategy through UKIE LT, role modeling take the lead behaviours;
  • Driving synergies within the MCO and beyond, leveraging IE’s unique position as a EU country in the UKIE MCO (e.g. with 2026 upcoming IE EU committee leadership);
  • Foster a culture of innovation and accountability while ensuring compliance with regulations.

About you

Main Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • Considerable experience in the Pharmaceutical/Vaccines industry with progressive leadership responsibility;
    • Demonstrated experience in Market Access, Public Affairs, or commercial roles within the healthcare sector;
    • Strong understanding of the Irish healthcare system and immunization landscape;
    • Experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Skills: Strategic thinking, strong business acumen with proven track record in strategy development and execution, stakeholder management, business development, project management, organizational skills and team leadership capabilities (collaborative leadership style with ability to work across functions and cultures);
  • Education: Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or related field;
  • Languages: Fluent English required.
