Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrates deep scientific knowledge:

  • Possesses detailed scientific and clinical knowledge of TAs, disease states, and therapeutic options.
  • Effectively communicates complex scientific concepts and information.
  • Leverages scientific and clinical knowledge to engage customers in scientific exchange in areas of strategic focus at Lilly.
  • Identifies and/or develops potential solutions to address needs for medical information.

Exhibits territory ownership:

  • Implements a strategic territory plan prioritizing ML core activity.
  • Adheres to all governing internal and external requirements and laws when implementing the ML role.
  • Evaluates the implementation of their plan and takes personal accountability for results.
  • Demonstrates strategic analysis, planning, and prioritization to maximize efficiency.

Excels at customer engagement:

  • Displays emotional intelligence.
  • Demonstrates the ability to build mutually beneficial two-way dialogue with scientific experts.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of their customers.
  • Delivers best in class customer experiences.

Displays strategic vision & leadership:

  • Synthesizes complex data and issues.
  • Solves problems creatively and compliantly.
  • Effectively demonstrates decision making skills.
  • Effectively collaborates with others.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • University degree or PhD in Health Sciences or medically related field.
  • Life Sciences/Pharma industry/Experience minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
  • Knowledge and Experience in Diabetes and CWM would be an advantage.
  • English proficiency.
  • Advanced interpersonal, communication, teamwork, project management, presentation skills.
  • Ability to “translate” scientific data into meaningful, clear, and compliant content for customer communications and engagements.
  • Commercial/Business acumen and contribution.
  • Knowledge and experience at the customer interface.
  • Ability to effectively partner across multiple functions including but not limited to Marketing, Compliance, Legal, Regulatory, Market Access and Sales.
  • Strong leadership and ability to influence, including cross-functionally and upwards.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize broad deliverable of a complex nature.
