Job Description

We are expanding our CliniMACS Team to accelerate the development of clinical devices like the CliniMACS Prodigy and the CliniMACS Plus by establishing a new group focused on the development of single use accessories, biological applications and support of life cycle management activities.

• Your main tasks will include the development and adaptation of single use accessories for the CliniMACS Prodigy and CliniMACS Plus systems;
• As the group leader, you will take on both technical and disciplinary leadership responsibilities for a dedicated team;
• You will be responsible for designing and testing generic application processes and evaluating disposables in a biological context;
• Additionally, you will support lifecycle management activities for disposables, ensuring their continued biological performance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or Bioprocess Engineering, combined with several years of relevant professional experience;
• Proven leadership experience, either in a disciplinary or technical role;
• Strong background in bioprocess development or in designing single-use technologies for clinical or medical applications ideally in the context of manufacturing processes for cell therapies;
• Solid knowledge of DIN EN ISO 13485;
• Fluency in English, German language skills are a plus.
