We’re looking for a dynamic Territory Manager Spain reporting to the National Business Manager Iberia to join our growing organization and make an impact.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Territory Manager Spain, you’ll:
- Ensure that sales targets for the territory are achieved;
- Contribute to the management and the coordination of the key strategies and activities focused on driving extracorporeal photopheresis (ECP) penetration in the Spanish market;
- Adjust strategies to meet local needs and to ensure synergy with EU marketing plans;
- Monitors public hospitals’ tenders and manages bid-tender processes to deliver sales growth;
- Actively works with all the team members in a cross functional environment;
- Effectively leverage the expanding EMEA Professional Education offering, as well as developing local KOL led events;
- Attends to and/or organize professional meetings to build network of contacts on behalf of the company;
- Ensures flawless execution of all sales related process (order to cash) in line with internal SOP and legal requirements;
- Under a strict follow up of the event planner structure, you will be required to set up educational events from A to Z in partnership with cross functional employees;
- Strictly follow HCC regulations and company policies to manage the business in a compliant way;
- Be required to work on your own initiative as a pre-requisite and plan your calls schedule according to the strategic plan requirements.
Your role will be essential in ensuring management of the existing accounts and opening new accounts to deliver sales in line with the agreed targets. The Territory Manager drives the penetration of Extracorporeal Photopheresis (ECP) immunomodulation in the rare-disease landscape, at assigned targeted accounts, through clinical and non-clinical stakeholder management. Main clinical stakeholder targets: Apheresis Units, Hematology, Solid Organ Transplantation and Dermatology.
Job Requirements:
Skills:
- Proven experience of complex sales in a multidimensional environment;
- Experienced in commercial or marketing functions within the Spanish public healthcare/hospital market;
- Excellent understanding of the tender process of public hospitals in Spain;
- Highly proficient in using Microsoft office packages, internet and office technology;
- Good analytical and conceptual skills;
- Ability to work virtually and collaborate in a matrix organization;
- Ability to work under pressure and retain high levels of confidentiality at all times;
- Ability to plan their own time and workload as well as plan for deadlines and qualitative and quantitative targets independently;
- Strong presentation, project management and negotiation skills;
- Enthusiastic, dedicated, committed, team-worker and autonomous and entrepreneurial approach to work;
- Excellent Spanish and English communication skills, both written and spoken;
- EU driver license;
- EU work permit.
Experience:
- Successful sales track record within the Medical Device sector, 3-5 years’ experience in the apheresis/blood bank/transfusion fields;
- Deep knowledge of the tender process in Spain.
Education:
- Degree level education, business/marketing qualifications desirable.
