The DMPK Scientist will support the evaluation of Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) properties of new chemical entities and drug candidates providing high quality data and assessments to reduce attrition and ensure the successful progression of compounds through the drug development pipeline.

The Impact You’ll Make

• Plan, execute and analyse in vitro and in vivo screening DMPK studies ensuring compliance with protocols and accurate presentation of data;
• Prepare detailed reports/summaries of findings/data liaising with key experts, solving potential problems;
• Develop bioanalytical methods and perform bioanalysis of preclinical samples;
• Integrate a multidisciplinary team of DMPK scientists, pharmacometricians and toxicologists proactively fostering agility in decision-making;
• Support Project Teams, or other teams, contributing for compound progression and successful project development.

What You’ll Bring

• MSc or PhD in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Chemistry or related fields;
• Experience in DMPK area (minimum 1-2 years) preferentially in the drug development context within the pharmaceutical, biotech or contract research organization environments;
• Solid technical experience in DMPK studies in vitro and rodent in vivo assays and knowledge of statistics, FELASA certification and knowledge of GLP/GCP guidelines (preferential);
• Strong analytical, results-oriented, attention to detail and organizational skills;
• Strong teamwork competences and communication skills.

This is a temporary position to cover a maternity leave.
