Teva Pharmaceuticals is hiring Business Development & Medical Affairs Director responsible for:

  • Business Development that encompasses two primary activities, product portfolio selection and product portfolio management. Product portfolio selection is the identification of product opportunities by assessing the business, market conditions and strategic business imperatives to effectively balance the risk/reward profile of the product pipeline portfolio and to ensure consistent launch of new products while maximizing sustainable value creation.
  • Medical Affairs activities in order to assure information and education both internally and externally to help company staff, health care professionals and the general public (if the case) better understand the company's products.

The responsibilities as Business Development & Medical Affairs Director mainly consist of:

  • Identify, communicate and exploit new business opportunities.
  • Explore possibilities to add value to current portfolios
  • Identify gaps/problems in our businesses and operational processes, propose solutions for improvement
  • Develop business plans for any opportunity identified, coordinate and finalize the deal.
  • Provide support to all departments when trying to propose/implement strategies
  • Identify good initiatives/best practices in the region, put them forward and get go/no go feedback on local feasibility/implementation
  • Being the liaison for all projects that require extensive ties with different Teva functions in different locations.
  • Support and coordination of other departments when preparation of a business case is required.
  • Establish, coordinate, monitor and update policies and processes while following EU/global policies and guidelines and complying with local legislation
  • Coordinate the Medical Information process to external customers.
  • Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the internal scientific/medical information, clarity and balanced message
  • Coordinate the review and approval process for any medical communication/promotion to internal and external customers
  • Represent the company in relation with authorities that are competent in the medical publicity relations area.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Bachelor´s degree in Medicine, Pharmacy or Stomatology or similar
  • 7+ years experience in a similar position in a complex business environment
  • Strong pharma business knowledge
  • High level of business development/ project management
  • Broad and strategic business perspective
  • Quick understanding of a complex and matrix organization
  • High level of influencing skills
  • MS Office advanced level (Word, Excel and Power Point, MS Office)
  • Very good command of English
