At Boehringer Ingelheim we develop breakthrough therapies and innovative healthcare solutions in areas of unmet medical need for both humans and animals. As a family owned company, we focus on long-term performance. We believe that, if we have talented and ambitious people who are passionate about innovation, there is no limit to what we can achieve; after all, we started with just 28 people. Now, we are powered by 50,000 employees globally who nurture a diverse, collaborative and inclusive culture.
Are you an expert in Precision Medicine, Biomarkers or Translational Medicine? Do you have extensive experience in Companion Diagnostic (CDx) as well as clinical drug development, and a deep knowledge of Oncology and other relevant disease areas? Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a TMCP Precision Medicine Lead for the implementation of Precision Medicine/CDx concepts in drug development programs to be based in Biberach/Germany.
Translational Medicine & Clinical Pharmacology (TMCP) is a global organization within the Innovation Unit that builds understanding of diseases and drugs by developing and applying innovative translational strategies (including biomarkers, clinical pharmacology, pharmacometrics and digital approaches) across the entire clinical development pipeline. We drive projects fast and stringently to informed decisions on first-in-man, proof of pharmacological principle (PoPP), proof of clinical principle (PoCP) and proof of clinical concept (PoCC) up to submission. To generate an integrative understanding of the dose-exposure-biomarker-response/clinical end-point relationship and to maximize translational knowledge generation, we are applying state-of- the-art technologies and data analytics, support start of development (SoD) decision points and enable Precision Medicine to deliver differentiated therapies for patients.
