About the Role:

As a Business Development Manager, you will take an active part in growing our service brand for Clinical Trials - Alcura. You will drive incremental revenue through a professional, consultative and proactive sales activity directed at our Key Sponsors and CROs. You will and have an opportunity to establish relationships with a newly defined client-base for Alcura and play a key role in placing Alcura on the market as a preferred provider for the Clinical Trials, Labelling, Packaging and Distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish robust relationships with Key Sponsors and CROs to create new business opportunities;
  • Secure and review RFPs details provided by prospective clients to ensure adequate and effective preparation of project proposals;
  • Develop client-directed presentations, proposals and negotiate close-contracts with the clients;
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across different countries;
  • Collaborate with central services teams and commercial leads to ensure sales of the Alcura services;
  • Develop and execute sales plan;
  • Ensure sales targets are met or exceeded;
  • Build relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure complex customer requirement are met;
  • Monitor client-satisfaction through regular contact with the client, ensuring that all instances of client dissatisfaction are recorded and addressed.

About you:

  • You will hold a degree or a relevant qualification within a Life Science or Business and have a track record of business success with a strong focus on sales;
  • You will demonstrate experience in generating high-scale revenue and developing mid to high level business contacts;
  • You will have excellent communication skills with an ability to influence effectively.
