Job Description

We are looking for you to fill an exciting key position in our Orthodontic business unit! You will be responsible for defining and executing the global strategy for the assigned portfolio. This includes new product development with innovative solutions based on industry experience, lead user and customer interaction, and Straumann’s strategic objectives. In addition, you will drive the Product Life Cycle Management of the assigned product portfolio and optimizes global product performance and contribution, including geographic expansions. The position will be based in Basel and reports to the Head of Global Consumer Solutions & Channels.

Tasks

  • Define commercial KPIs with, and get commitment from, our sales organisations.
  • Drive market introduction and related tasks in collaboration with our partner.
  • In collaboration with our partner and subsidiaries, identify gaps, develop and provide our organisation with additional sales & marketing tools to drive performance.
  • Align product requirements with customer needs, market and product demands.
  • Be the global trainer for our internal teams and secure that best practices are shared across our organisation.
  • Work closely with our partner and subsidiaries develop efficient T&E collaterals and provides additional tools to drive performance.
  • Secure an efficient product roadmap communication regarding upcoming features/releases.
  • Proactively and frequently communicate to all stakeholder regarding project status and timelines; e.g. local registration, new market launch, etc.
  • Be the product expert and contact person for all product related questions across our organisation. Secure an in-depth and continuously up-to-date knowledge of the product to provide timely response to questions.
  • Support local and global teams with any commercial, strategic or technical challenges.

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in life sciences, technical, business administration or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Product Management or related commercial function.
  • Expert knowledge in guided surgery software, CBCT and services preferred.
  • Experience in managing sales and marketing related projects from concept to launch as well as a proven track record in achieving objectives and targets.
  • Experience in managing stakeholder across different organizations.
  • Fluent in English, other languages are an asset.
  • You enjoy being a part of a dynamic, inspired and engaged team.
  • You are a team player with open, positive attitude, respect for others and a high level of integrity, commitment and ethics.
  • In addition, you are a strong analytical skills and result-oriented person with strong communication skills.
