The Role:

In this critical role, the Supply Chain Assoc. Director/Director will support translating strategic priorities into business performance by driving tactical and operational priorities to establish quality, costs effectiveness and robustness of the end-to-end supply chain in alignment with Clinical, Commercial, Technical Development, Regulatory, and Manufacturing, influencing across the Moderna ecosystem. Aligned with the strategy, he/she drives actions to increase operational performance and utilize the resources (people, process and capital) to maximize value to internal and final customer.

He/she will be responsible to manage and deliver strategic projects to achieve a competitive advantage in all aspects of Supply Chain including leading cross functional initiatives, which enhance supply chain standards and generate synergies and financial benefits across functions.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

  • Ownership and accountability for International Supply Chain Governance Processes and key performance indicators
  • Drive the SCM goal setting and KPI target realization ensuring transparency and consistent reviews on key global Supply Chain indicators
  • Leads the Supply Chain Business review and integrated planning activities working cross-functionally to align demand and supply planning
  • Identify, design and drive implementation of best practices and process improvements across Supply Chain, to deliver business impact.
  • Ensure process adherence, achieving timely implementation of processes improvements and projects to best possible costs whilst ensuring regulatory and compliance frameworks.
  • Ensures a proper visibility and oversight of the Product Life Cycle Projects across the network
  • Leads, support and drive Supply Chain Projects which are critical for CMC to achieve mid/long term objectives
  • Supports cross functional initiatives, which are initiated by other related functions of strategic importance for CMC including compliance / quality generating synergies and/or financial benefits
  • Has oversight on key projects and initiatives, driving priorities, monitor progress and support for escalations to projects and initiatives as well as ensures consistency among them
  • Work with the Head International Supply Chain to develop and align the strategic priorities

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • Education: University degree in technology, engineering, or management/business administration
  • 10-15 years in various Supply Chain functions or roles of similar complexity
  • Excellence in project management, PMP certification a plus and/or black belt certification
  • Exceptional understanding of the Pharma industry & supply chain needs strongly preferred (Biotech experience a plus)
  • Advanced understanding of the cGxP’s
  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) to collaborate with senior CMC Management in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment – you are outgoing, communicative, and seek to build relationships on a daily basis
  • Well organized – a natural ability to be organized in how you think, communicate and conduct your work
  • You drive for results – you set a high bar for yourself and others. You love what you do, and it shows
  • Ability to effectively collaborate in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • A curious mindset that allows you to constantly learn and challenge the status quo
