Our division "Analytical Development Biologicals" is looking for a new colleague!
Use your strong background in analytical and protein chemistry to lead one of our lab teams within in all areas of technology and management. Are you familiar with the GMP environment? Tasks & responsibilities
- In your new role as Head of Lab, you have the technical and disciplinary responsibility for a team of 5-7 employees;
- Within the development of biopharmaceutial products, you manage the planning and execution of analytical studies;
- Moreover, you are accountable for the development, validation and transfer of methods (HPLC, CE, UV spectroscopy, pharmacopoeia methods) for the release and stability testing of investigational medicinal products;
- Thanks to your expertise, you represent Analytical Development in international and interdisciplinary project teams and support process and formulation development in analytical tasks;
- The accountability for the release testing of clinical investigational products is also one of your key tasks. You plan and coordinate the analytical studies required for approval;
- The preparation of chapters of the chemical/pharmaceutical part (CMC part) of registration documents is also one of your tasks.
Requirements
- PhD. in biochemistry, biotechnology, chemistry, biology or pharmacy;
- Several years of professional experience and profound knowledge in protein chemistry and protein analytics;
- Very good know-how in analytical development and quality control of biopharmaceuticals in a GMP environment;
- Distinctive social skills and several years of professional experience in personnel management, especially in the development, motivation and empowerment of teams;
- Interdisciplinary way of thinking and acting, a team-oriented and efficient working style as well as communication and organizational strength;
- Good comprehension as well as a high sense of quality and responsibility;
- Fluent in German and English written and spoken.
